Claiming our place in the World, Unapologetically
It began with a question - What would the world look like if women trusted their own experiences and observations to inform who they truly are and how they belong?
Bonds Magazine is a place for women to claim their own voices and power. Through sharing diverse and cross-generational experiences of women we aim to break down limiting beliefs, narratives and stories. By exploring the bonds between ourselves and each other, we seek to expand the way we show up in the world while radically practicing fresh perspective.
Bonds is a thought, an idea, but most importantly an invitation to share a space for our struggles and triumphs and in turn, bring power to our collective voices and affirmation of our experiences. Together we will build a muscle to speak up and learn to trust our voices by lifting each other up and validating our experiences.
Entering my 50s hasn’t been fun! It’s that simple. The big five-oh didn’t meet my expectations despite my efforts to make it dreamy. For my 50th birthday, I planned a trip to Greece and my actual birthday was a brilliant sea and land adventure on a beautiful island called Naxos. Let’s not forget that it was also a culinary paradise. But as much as I tried to get myself excited for the new decade, unfortunately outside my trip to Greece, it’s been a struggle.
